Hello. Make sure names of your styles are only alphanumeric, no symbols. Do your style names meet this criteria?

Having problems when switching between saved styles. Running win7 sp1 4gigs of ram. Sorry posted in wrong area. Thanks, tweatherman Your style files are located in %appdata%/WeatherBox/preferences Each folder is a style. There should be 8 cfg files in each folder. Can you tell me specifically what happens when you try to load a style? Also did you try restarting the program?

There was only 7 .cfg files in each folder that I created and did notice that the 3 I created did not have a general.cfg file so I copied and pasted the file into each separate folder to see if that was the problem.

- You should have 8 cfg files under each style folder. Loop0 through Loop7, do you have all those?
- There should not be a "general.cfg" file in any custom style folder...that only exists under the "default" folder.
- The styles save all your custom map and overlay colors, your default image enhancements, loop lengths, things like that.
- Styles do not save location information. For example, if you are looking at Washington, then save the style, when you reload your style it will not "auto pan" the image to Washington, the viewed image will remain wherever you were looking before you loaded your style. Simply pan to where you want to go. Also hint: If you hold down CTRL and left click, it will recenter the image where you click. It's a quick way to navigate around.
- I will see if we can make styles remember geographic location centerpoints.

Will create a few and see if they work. Great idea to have it go to the same geographic area every time.
Thanks, tweatherman

I created a few styles and none of them saved. I have 8 files in the folder 0loop.cfg through 7loop.cfg. Any idea why these are not working? Not even the ones that came with the program will load up.
Thanks, tweatherman

Can you send me the entire contents of your preferences folder to the email address in your PM I sent?
One last thing...do you know that each image TYPE has it's own unique settings?
For example, if you change county lines on National Radar Mosaic, those settings are ONLY for that image type.
So if you want different counties to show on Visible satellite, you must change it ON Visible satellite.
As a test, load up National Radar Mosaic. Now change the county and state lines to something obviously different, and save that as a "test" style.........
Now, load up the default style...did it change it back? Now try to load your test style...does it change again? Thanks.
